About the role
The Patient Care Specialist supports patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include clerical work, stocking, ordering, transporting, and specified patient care duties. The Unit Assistant also facilitates unit operations.

- Facilitates unit operations by performing clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting.
- Performs specified patient care duties.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
Requirements
- State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
