Role Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential home care services to patients in their residences, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and mouth care.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Deliver basic nursing care and follow prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Maintain accurate records, report changes in client condition, and adhere to care plans.
• Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and safety, reporting any abuse or neglect.

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing.
• Dependability, reliability, and a caring attitude towards clients.

Additional Details

• Electronic charting and use of PPE required.
• Travel within the service area required.
• Valid driver's license, background check, drug test, and valid TB test required.
• No medication administration involved.
• Weekly pay, immediate hiring, and referral bonus offered.
