About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides personal care, assistance with transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship to home care patients in their residences. This position is crucial for delivering high-quality, in-home healthcare in a variety of client environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with transfers
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Offer companionship to patients
• Record patient conditions and follow care plans
• Ensure patient privacy and maintain professional standards
• Adhere to the care plan and report changes in patient condition

Requirements

• Current CNA certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license for travel within the service area
• Pass background checks and drug tests
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
• Dependability, reliability, and effective communication skills
• Compassionate attitude
