CNA/Nurse Assistant/Nurse Apprentice - Infusion Services (Days)

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant, Nurse Apprentice, or Nursing Assistant to join the nursing team in Infusion Services. This is a PRN weekend position.

Schedule

Saturday and Sunday from 8am–12pm.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing clerical, receptionist, and patient service coordination tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, scanning, and rooming patients.
• Obtain vital signs, assist with patient toileting, provide nutrition, and support nurses.
• Respond to call lights.
• Perform various nursing care services and related non-professional services to ensure patient comfort and personal needs under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho OR maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing OR complete the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network (required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk).
• Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric).
