Shifts: In general, we offer 8-hour shifts for our CNA positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions. Role We are seeking a dedicated Life Services Coordinator - CNA to join our Maggie's Place Memory Care team! The Life Services Coordinator - CMA is responsible for cultivating an environment that maximizes each resident’s independence. The Life Services Coordinator is responsible for delivering assistance with personal care, medications, social and recreational activities, meals, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants. Responsibilities Provides services to tenants as assigned and as indicated on Resident Service Plans, which may include grooming and dressing guidance, assistance with bathing, and medication reminders/ assistanceReport any significant tenant changes to the nurseMonitors for changes in tenant needs, preferences, and/or health status, and reports/documents any changes according to established proceduresReviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis for information about changes in tenant service needs and/or health conditionsPrepare and serve meals/snacks, monitor food expiration dates and maintain kitchen cleanliness.Complete various housekeeping duties including: dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and common spaces, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, make and change bed linens, and laundry services. Maintain activity calendar and engage tenants in activities such as spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activitiesProvide companionshipWorks effectively with minimal supervision and in a team settingFollows safety policies in performing care, assuring resident safetyFollows and upholds policies and proceduresAttends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assignedFollows infection control guidelinesObserves residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
