CNA Home Health Aide (PER DIEM)

About the role

This position provides care in various settings such as homes, apartments, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assists with personal care activities: bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care and feeding.
• Assists with medication management by reminding clients to take medication as needed.
• Assists clients with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities.
• Performs household services to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Provides basic emotional and psychological support to clients and other members of the household.
• Assists clients to physicians, clinics, or other appointments.
• Accompanies patients on walks and to social functions.
• Observes any changes in clients' abilities and/or needs for safety issues and notifies the agency as appropriate.
• Documents care/activities provided as per agency policy.

Requirements

• CNA Certification and license.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Previous caregiving experience is strongly preferred.
