CNA/Health Unit Coordinator, Day Surgery - Mukwonago Hospital - 0.9 FTE

About the role

The Day Surgery Unit is comprised of 24 beds, caring for pre/post procedural patients. The staff provide pre and post-operative/procedural care to Surgery, Gastroenterology, Interventional Radiology and select populations of Radiology patients receiving anesthesia services. The majority of patients are discharged after their procedure.

Responsibilities

• We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide support to the staff and patients on the unit.
• Qualified candidates will work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients.
• Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits and patient processes.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
• Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Schedule

Second shift, flexible start time starting at 1 or 2pm and working until 7:30pm.
