Position Role Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the scheduling and filling of open shifts
- Assist with staffing issues
- Order supplies
- Scan documents into the electronic medical record
- Support the management personnel
- Work with the NHA and DON to provide support to the nursing unit
- Work closely with the medical secretary and perform tasks as assigned
- Backup for medical secretary as needed, which includes: greet visitors/residents, answer incoming calls, insurance checks, keep electronic medical record up to date with admissions/discharges, arrange appointments, etc.
- Assist on the floor as a CNA when needed to fill open shifts
Qualifications
- Requires a Certified Nursing Assistant certification and to be listed as active in the State of Wisconsin
- Must be flexible to work all shifts if needed
- Prior experience working in a nursing home or similar environment is preferred
- Current BLS certification or obtain within 3 months of hire
- Must have excellent office, customer service, and computer skills
- Prior experience using PointClickCare (electronic medical record) is beneficial but not required
