About the role
Provide in‑home care for clients in the Seattle, Eastside, and Pierce County areas. Candidates must hold an active Washington CNA or HCA license (or be a student who has taken or scheduled the state exam), pass a criminal background check, and be comfortable working 4‑5‑hour daytime shifts with the possibility of additional hours, including transporting clients to medical appointments, running errands, and accompanying them into the community. Shifts are offered weekdays and weekends, with typical time blocks such as 9 AM–1 PM, 10 AM–2 PM, 11 AM–3/4 PM, 12 PM–4 PM, and 1 PM–5 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation, and activities
- Support memory care and mental health needs
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise
- Prepare meals
- Give medication reminders
- Help with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Perform light housekeeping
