As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in our dynamic Emergency Room and ICU, you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under Registered Nurse direction. Responsibilities

• Provide essential direct patient care including assisting with ADLs, personal care, feeding, and comfort measures, ensuring patient dignity and well‑being.
• Monitor and document vital signs and other patient data (e.g., intake/output, weight), promptly reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with patient mobility and transport, safely transferring and ambulating patients, and preparing them for examinations, procedures, and discharge.
• Support clinical procedures under RN direction, including basic wound care, specimen collection, and assisting with application of medical devices.
• Maintain an organized and safe Emergency Department environment, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring unit readiness.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, communicating patient needs, supporting rapid patient flow, and adhering to all safety and hospital policies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant from the state of Minnesota
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) to be obtained within 30 Days

Preferred: Experience in ER setting

Pay

Pay Range $19.62 - $25.34 /hour
