CNA Surgical ICU
Overview
The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs.
Qualifications
- Licenses/Certifications:
- CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant
- CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider
- BLS
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment
- Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients
Pay
Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
Schedule
This is an Hourly position.
- Shift Differentials: 3rd Shift: $2.25/hour Weekend: $1.75/hour
Benefits
SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE! $2,000 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment.
Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
