About the role
The Nursing Assistant functions within his/her scope of practice under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to assist in providing care and implementing delegated activities of the nursing plan. S/he demonstrates an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s). Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Responsibilities
- Assist in providing patient care under RN supervision.
- Implement delegated activities from the nursing plan.
- Demonstrate understanding of basic nursing skills.
- Apply skills specific to the ICU/intensive care unit.
Requirements
- Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License (required upon hire).
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (required upon hire).
