About the role
The CMMS Engineer will serve as a system mater expert within Amazon data center regions. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to address operational challenges, working within multi-disciplinary teams, and managing the process from deployment to maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain site asset data through Hexagon EAM
- Ensure asset details are captured to match the digital record
- Work with corresponding teams to align and schedule maintenance within the CMMS application
- Proactively perform routine data scrubs, identify and correct anomalies, and automate processes
- Plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences within the organization
- Help develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet regional or global business requirements
- Support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training
- Collaborate with the global EAM team to drive global processes and document development
- Act as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, ensuring accuracy and report quality
- Perform 20% travel when launching new locations
Requirements
- 5+ years of Microsoft Office experience, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
- Experience in supporting procedures for production or mission critical environments, including ticketing, monitoring/metrics, and troubleshooting technical issues
- 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler experience in an industrial, maintenance, manufacturing, or distribution industry
Qualifications
- Experience in SQL or programming
- Experience in business intelligence and analytics
