CMMS Engineer

About the role

The CMMS Engineer will serve as a system mater expert within Amazon data center regions. They will design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges, working within multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the process from start to finish in deploying the EAM platform in your data center region.
• Support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training.
• Collaborate with the global EAM team to drive global processes and document development.
• Act as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, ensuring accuracy and producing accurate reports.
• Develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet regional or global business requirements.
• Participate in 20% travel when launching new locations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or 3+ years of facilities management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience
• Experience in business intelligence and analytics
• 2+ years SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools.
• Working knowledge in EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding, and naming convention.
