About the role
Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Rancho Cucamonga is currently seeking a CMM Programmer to join their team. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor at their Aerospace Manufacturing facility in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to ensure compliance with blueprint or electronic file requirements.
- Interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
- Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 forms as required.
- Operate and use dimensional inspection measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gages, radii gages, calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools.
- Program and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment.
- Work from and with dimensional inspection measurement equipment to perform accurate measurements and inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with CMM and hand equipment for dimensional inspection.
- AFS Laboratory Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of virtual dimensional measuring interfaces (DMIS), PC-DMIS, and PolyWorks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and reduced dimension drawings.
- Knowledge of Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 requirements.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Utilization of both CMM and hand equipment for dimensional inspection.
- Certifications/Licenses: AFS Laboratory Certification preferred.
- Computer Skills: Expertise in DMIS 6.0, Virtual DMIS, and routine CMM operation.
- Software Experience: Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
- Language: Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.

Pay
Salary rate: $39 - $42 per hour DOE plus a $1.00 shift differential.
