CMDB Consultant

Seeking a high-level CMDB/BMC Helix professional to help advance a multi-year CMDB transformation initiative. The environment has completed significant discovery efforts and is now focused on CMDB adoption, reporting, dashboard development, audit readiness, and service mapping.

About the role

The consultant will partner with operations teams and data stewards to develop dashboards, build reporting capabilities, perform data analysis, improve data quality visibility, and support compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong BMC Remedy, Helix Dashboard, CMDB, Discovery, and reporting expertise and be capable of contributing immediately with minimal ramp-up time.

• Develop dashboards and reporting capabilities

• Support compliance and audit readiness requirements
• Build and enhance CMDB adoption and service mapping

Requirements

• Expert-level experience with CMDB, BMC Helix, Discovery, and Dashboards
• BMC Helix latest platform experience (v25/26+)
• Service Mapping and ITSM Process Integration
• Compliance and audit reporting
• Technical documentation and change management process experience
• Excellent communication skills

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
