About the role
This is a casual Day Shift position assisting RNs and physicians in an ambulatory care setting at Essentia Health.
Responsibilities
- Performs identified procedures based on demonstrated competencies
- Care for patients ranging from newborn to elderly
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or current registration/certification as a Medical Assistant
- Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and certification within one year of date of hire
- BLS certified or able to obtain within three months
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
