Cloud Solutions Engineer

About the role

Lead white-glove support for customers adopting cloud solutions. Act as the subject-matter expert for cloud migration, build a best-practices knowledge base for workgroups, help workgroups set up resources and migrate workloads, collaborate with on-prem teams to decommission resources after migrations, manage competing priorities, and provide progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or a technical discipline plus 12 years of experience (or equivalent experience)
• Experience managing projects in the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Experience in the Healthcare IT field
• Expertise with Azure or other major cloud platforms
• Experience with Databricks workspace administration, catalog creation, mount configurations, and cluster setup
• Strong knowledge and experience with data-lake architectures, especially Delta Lake or similar structured storage solutions
• Experience automating cloud-provisioning workflows (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, Python)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance
