Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design and implement microservices delivering self-contained business functionality within a SaaS product
- Collaborate with multi-team, collaborative software development processes
- Operate production services with high availability and observability
- Implement monitoring and alerting techniques for early problem detection and reporting
- Manage CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Agile methodologies and consider security and user data protection throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's or equivalent experience a plus)
- Experience developing services and deploying infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Strong proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, software design principles, and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Good understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
- Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS
- Experience with serverless patterns and event-driven designs (e.g., Step Functions, EventBridge)
- Experience operating production services with high availability and observability (metrics, logs, traces)
- Monitoring and alerting techniques for early problem detection and reporting
- CI/CD pipelines (GitLab experience is an advantage)
- Multi-team, collaborative software development (source control, collaborative design and code reviews)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $109,800 - $197,700 annually with a target incentive of 5-8 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
Schedule
This role is available on a hybrid schedule, allowing for flexibility.
