Responsibilities

• Develop services and deploy infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficient in Python, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS
• Experience with serverless patterns and event-driven designs (Step Functions, EventBridge)
• High availability and observability of operating production services
• Monitoring and alerting techniques for early problem detection and reporting
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab experience is an advantage)
• Multi-team, collaborative software development (source control, collaborative design and code reviews)
• Designing and implementing microservices delivering self-contained business functionality within a SaaS product

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a software developer

Pay

The pay range for this position is $109,800 - $197,700 annually with a target incentive of 5-8% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule, including the option to work remotely.
