Cloud / Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer
About the role
These engineers handle infrastructure across on-premises data centers and cloud providers.
Responsibilities
- Design hybrid architectures: Create infrastructure plans that leverage on-premise and cloud resources for flexibility and cost efficiency.
- Manage deployments: Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable deployment across environments.
- Implement automation: Use infrastructure-as-code tools to automate provisioning and scaling.
- Monitor performance: Track performance metrics, manage network latency, and optimize resource use.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid network design.
Engagement pathways and compensation status
TAIRC is currently building its funding base. Opportunities identified as volunteer or unpaid do not provide compensation at this stage. Any future paid appointment would require available funding, organizational approval, applicable legal compliance, and a separate written agreement. Participation does not guarantee future employment or compensation.
Volunteer contribution interest may be reviewed only as a voluntary, scoped pathway. Educational internship interest requires separate supervision, educational purpose, and legal review.
