About the role
We are seeking experienced Full Stack Software Developers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program delivers Enterprise Computing engineering services with modern technology solutions that function both on-premise and via remote cloud services. As a mission-focused developer, you will solve complex problems by identifying issues, gathering relevant data, evaluating alternatives, and implementing effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack software solutions using Java, C#, React, Node.js, TypeScript, and .NET.
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle environments.
- Apply DevOps practices using tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins for pipeline development, release management, and orchestration.
- Develop scripts using Python or PowerShell for automation and operational support.
- Work in both Windows and Linux environments to deliver technical solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Architect and maintain solutions within cloud environments, ensuring scalability and security.
- Create and maintain documentation, including concepts of operations and standards of practice for tiered maintenance support.
- Interface with senior leadership to provide regular status updates.
- Design and administer SQL databases, perform CRUD operations, optimize queries, and implement SQL commands within application code.
- Develop applications intended to operate across multiple networks or environments, including disconnected, restricted, or classified networks.
- Adapt development practices to meet varying compliance, accreditation, and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., Systems Engineering).
- Minimum of 11+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java and C#.
- Experience with modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Node.js, TypeScript, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and related tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, Jenkins).
- Proficiency with scripting languages, preferably Python or PowerShell.
- Experience developing in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, including database design, CRUD operations, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Understanding of data protection and data loss prevention considerations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ansible.
- Advanced PowerShell scripting.
- Microsoft Certified Engineer or Microsoft Certified Architect certifications (current within the last 3 to 5 years).
- Other relevant vendor professional certifications.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $149,603 - $254,317. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
