About the role
Hyperfine, Inc. (Nasdaq: HYPR) is a health technology company that has developed the Swoop® system—a portable, ultra-low-field magnetic resonance brain imaging system. The company aims to improve patient care through advanced imaging technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop software systems and cloud applications focusing on maintenance, extensibility, integration, and security of data storage and retrieval.
- Quickly learn new tools, platforms, and frameworks when building and developing microservices and APIs.
- Audit and adopt new policies, technologies, and practices, as well as evolve existing methodologies.
- Optimize frameworks, pipelines, visualizations, dashboards, and systems for remote device management and business analytics.
- Translate wireframes and sketches into HTML and CSS, collaborating with frontend and fullstack developers to enhance user interaction.
- Implement comprehensive medical web application systems for both internal and external projects, and document design and specifications for internal and regulatory purposes.
- Participate in the code review process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of work experience, or Masters Degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of work experience.
- Experience building modern cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Backend web development skills, including Python and Flask/Nginx.
- Front-end web development skills, including Javascript, Typescript, React, and Tableau/Looker for data pipelines, logging, visualization, and dashboards.
- Ability to translate wireframes and requirements into web applications and collaborate with Product and UI/UX designers.
- Top-notch written and communication skills in English.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation to maintain service uptime.
- Ability to use and program a computer for 8 hours a day, five days a week.

Benefits
The annual base salary for this position is between $126,000 - $145,000. This position is also eligible for participation in Hyperfine's corporate bonus and equity plans. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, location, position level, and other job-related reasons.
