Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise in multi-cloud operations, primarily across Azure and GCP.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable, resilient, and high-performance cloud architectures.
- Lead the development and enhancement of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation frameworks for provisioning and configuration management.
- Oversee and continuously improve DevSecOps pipelines, enabling seamless integration, testing, deployment, and release management.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability across complex cloud environments.
- Drive advanced system administration practices, including patching, configuration management, and platform hardening.
- Lead troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis (RCA) for critical infrastructure and application issues.
- Develop and maintain operational standards, runbooks, and knowledge base documentation to ensure consistency and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and Platform Engineering) to support integrated solution delivery.
- Define and implement backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and asset management strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and recommendations to improve platform efficiency, reliability, and operational maturity.
- Research, diagnose, and resolve complex issues across cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.
- Support pre-release validation, testing, and documentation for new features and platform enhancements.
- Manage and support account and subscription governance across cloud environments.
- Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring, and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation point for L1/L2 teams and ensure effective case and incident management.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the technical support/function team, ensuring SLA adherence and service excellence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor within the domain for technical guidance and issue resolution.
- Represent business and operational requirements in cross-team initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud computing, with at least 3 years in a senior technical role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality cloud solutions and managing complex IT infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including architecture design, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and continuous monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Ability to mentor and train junior staff on cloud technologies and best practices.
