Role Responsibilities
- Manage client support tickets through to their successful resolution
- Troubleshoot and remediate enterprise level IT application issues (backups, DR, security, patching, etc.)
- Perform administrative tasks at the operating system, application, and hypervisor level
- Monitor network events, perform daily walk-throughs, participate in after hour maintenances and major incidents
- Deliver exceptional experiences to clients in every interaction
- Perform other duties as required to help the Otava operations team achieve its objectives
Experience
- Experience in an enterprise or managed services level technology role
- 5+ years’ experience in VMware, vSphere, hybrid and/or public clouds
- Assist with any other infrastructure/team responsibilities and tasks that may be required
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience and/or certifications
- Preferred: VMware VCP, Veeam VMCE, NANSE4 Education Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience with Networking, cloud systems, or automation and scripting
Working Conditions
- M-F 8am to 5pm
