Job Summary
About the role
Examines textiles to determine quality and suitability. Directly impacts organizational sales (50% of Goodwill sales are associated with apparel sales).
Responsibilities
- Secures textiles from container.
- Thoroughly examines condition and determines whether product goes to hanging or salvage.
- Mets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.
- Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
- Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.
Additional Responsibilities
- CARF: Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards.
- Safety: Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility.
- Outcome Driven: Have S.M.A.R.T objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community.
- Stakeholder Focused: Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders.

Education And/or Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in sales is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends some holidays.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach, and lift up to 40 pounds, walking or standing to a significant degree, and be able to move large boxes, furniture, and other heavy items.
