About the role

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on the sales floor and receiving.

Responsibilities

  • Process all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system (50%).
  • Systematically replenish merchandise to the sales floor as required per Visual Merchandising Standards using the inventory management system (10%).
  • Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment (10%).
  • Unload trucks as needed (10%).
  • Assist with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise (5%).
  • Keep work area clean, neat, organized, and well stocked with supplies (5%).
  • Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible (5%).
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all guests (5%).
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
  • 0 years of experience required.

Skills

  • Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and Point of Sale register system.
  • Ability to process and organize information including plan-o-grams, visual guides, and merchandising standards.
  • Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise for the sales floor.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly walks, stands, and performs computer work.
  • Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
  • Seldom or never sits.
  • Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.

Independent Judgement

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $17.00 - $19.75 per hour.
