Job Details

  • Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the real estate closing process, including coordination with all parties involved.
  • Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Prepare and review closing documents, including settlement statements, deeds, and closing disclosures.
  • Cook up and schedule closings, ensuring that all necessary paperwork and funds are in place.
  • Act as a liaison between all parties, including agents, buyers, sellers, lenders, and title companies, to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Conduct final review and verification of all documents and funds prior to closing.
  • Ensure that all post-closing tasks are completed, including recording of deeds and mortgages, disbursement of funds, and preparation of final closing packages.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, Real Estate Closer, or similar for a law firm, title, or lending company.
  • Knowledge of real estate law, mortgage lending, and the closing process.
  • Proficiency in using real estate closing software.
  • Experience with Qualia is a bonus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all parties involved in the transaction.
  • Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for reviewing and analyzing complex legal and financial documents.
  • Ability to work independently, while also being able to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
  • A customer-service oriented mindset, with a commitment to providing exceptional service to all clients and partners.

Average salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year.
