Closing Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

Greystar is seeking a highly organized and motivated professional with meaningful experience in commercial lending and loan operations to support its Credit origination business.

• Serve as the central point of contact to manage deliverables from external counterparties (borrowers, attorneys, tax and insurance consultants, title companies, etc.)
• Collapse closing and funding activities required to ensure timely, compliant and accurate commercial loan closings
• Coordinate the disbursement of funds with internal counterparts in capital markets, accounting, finance, and tax
• Assemble, organize, and maintain electronic credit files for compliance, audit, and reporting purposes

Success Profile

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record and references who can verify the following:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, investment operations, or legal/financial coordination, preferably within an investment or development environment
• Prior experience with attorney prepared documentation
• Superb attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a deadline-oriented environment
