Closing Assistant

Principal Accountabilities

• Prepare initial input and validation of all loan fees on Closing Disclosure for delivery to Client with goal to be delivery 7 days prior to estimated closing date
• Work closely with Closer and title companies to ensure closings are efficient and on-time
• Versatile and able to verbally verify wiring instructions prior to day of disbursement in preparation for wiring funds to title companies
• Validate wires to the title companies for disbursement of the loans while monitoring wire dashboard to ensure bot runs accordingly
• Absorb and communicate with title companies on follow up requirements needed after closing
• Ensure title companies adhere to closing policies and procedures by reviewing documents after closing
• Absorb and assist with appraisal requests, monitoring and delivering as needed
• To assist other department and fellow team members with their workloads to ensure a smooth production flow for loan applications, closings and deliveries
