Summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking an energetic and motivated Clinician for the Transitional Outreach Program in Harrison County, Gulfport, MS. The position involves providing therapy services to youth and adolescents.

Requirements

• Master's degree in behavioral health required
• Professional clinical licensure preferred or must be able to obtain DMH therapist certification within 60 days of hire
• Behavioral health internship required

Responsibilities

• Conducts universal screenings and ongoing therapy as well as making referrals based on screenings within integrated primary care, CPS, juvenile justice, and/or child advocacy settings.
• Develops treatment plans for each consumer and is able to make referrals to other programs as needed.
• Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families.
• Uses information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and estimate severity of condition.
