About the role
Family Services is seeking a Licensed Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, MHC-LP) to join our Beacon Behavioral Health Team. This full-time, exempt position offers 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule including one late night. There are no on-call, weekend, or holiday requirements. The position is supervised by the Senior Director of Clinical Services and is based at 223 Main St., Beacon, NY.
Responsibilities
- Provide clients with individual and group therapy
- Assist with intake and screening of new clients, including psycho-social history
- Complete differential diagnosis and refer clients to appropriate programs or licensed prescribers
- Create and modify treatment plans reflecting client progress and prepare clients for treatment completion
- Complete administrative tasks: maintain case records, document client contacts, meet deadlines, and respond to outside agency queries
- Develop and implement follow-up studies to determine program effectiveness
- Coordinate with schools, Social Services, probation departments, and other parties involved in client treatment
- Provide clients with information and educational community activities to address substance use and mental health issues
- Act as a client advocate and liaison with community resources
- Provide training to colleagues on mental health treatment topics
Requirements
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Must possess New York State license
- Strong administrative, time management, and organizational skills
- Adept communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Pay
Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 annually (MHC-LPs considered at $55,000 annually). Salaries are based on experience, education, and length of licensure.
Schedule
Full-time, exempt, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday schedule with one late night. No on-call, weekends, or holidays.
