The Role

We are seeking a full-time & center-based Clinician in Training to join our dynamic team. The position offers hands-on training and the opportunity to learn from experienced Behavior Analysts.

Details

  • Our centers are open Monday-Friday between 8am - 5pm.
  • We primarily work with children aged 2-9 in a center-based environment.
  • The Clinician in Training is an entry-level Behavior Analyst role.

Training Timeline

  • Phase 1: Shadowing and completing assigned non-billable tasks. Mentor BA models team training and tests with appropriate fidelity before CiT can take over team training.
  • Phase 2: Mentor BA models and tests probing programming targets, conducts assessments, and makes programming changes. Mentor BA starts delegating non-billable consult time for both team training and programming updates.
  • Phase 3: Mentor BA overlaps as CiT starts running consults independently.

Fun and Challenging Responsibilities

  • Share a caseload with an experienced BA in the center who serves as a mentor and coach.
  • Avoid PS tasks related to shared clients.
  • Create materials for learners on caseload (after completion of MRS training).
  • Maintain and organize therapy materials for learners on caseload.
  • Aid in CST for new hires who will be entering the pod as assigned by BCBA.
  • Aid in BIC’s as assigned by BCBA.
  • Aid in ongoing integrity checks and training BTs on new programming implemented by BCBA.
  • Aid in the completion of monthly progress reports.
  • Sit in on parent meetings, assist with material preparation, and trainings.
  • Aid in creating and changing charts and updating data sheets following a shared consult.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working with children and love learning.
  • In the process of finishing supervision (last 3-4 months), waiting to take the BCBA exam, or newly certified and applying for licensure.
  • Accumulated supervision hours of 1650.
  • Demonstrate Bierman's core values.
  • Able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum of 30 pounds) as needed.
