Clinician in Training

The Role

We are seeking a full-time & center-based Clinician in Training to join our dynamic team. The position offers hands-on training in a supportive environment, focusing on natural play to teach foundational skills.

Details

• Our centers are open Monday-Friday between 8am - 5pm.
• We primarily work with children aged 2-9 in a center-based setting.
• The Clinician in Training is an entry-level Behavior Analyst role paired with an experienced BCBA mentor.
• The training timeline includes:
  • Phase 1: shadowing and completing assigned non-billable tasks.
  • Phase 2: Mentor BA models and tests probing programming targets, conducting assessments, and making programming changes.
  • Phase 3: Mentor BA overlaps as CiT starts to run the consults independently.

Fun and Challenging Responsibilities

• Share a caseload with an experienced BA in the center.
• Create materials for learners on caseload.
• Maintain and organize therapy materials for learners.
• Aid in CST for new hires.
• Aid in BIC’s as assigned.
• Avoid integrity checks and training BTs on new programming.
• Complete monthly progress reports.
• Sit in on parent meetings.
• Create and change charts and update data sheets.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with children and love learning.
• In the process of finishing supervision, waiting to take the BCBA exam, or newly certified and applying for licensure.
• Accrued supervision hours of 1650.
• Demonstrate Bierman's core values.
• Able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum of 30 pounds).
