Clinician in Training

The Role

We are seeking a full-time & center-based Clinician in Training to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to transform the lives of children with autism.

Details

• Our centers operate Monday-Friday from 8am - 5pm.
• We primarily serve children aged 2-9 in a center-based setting.
• The Clinician in Training works under the guidance of an experienced BCBA mentor.
• The training timeline includes three phases: shadowing, taking on non-billable tasks, and running consults independently.
• Responsibilities include shadowing, completing assigned non-billable tasks, assisting with PS tasks, creating materials, maintaining therapy materials, assisting with CST and BICs, and more.

Fun and Challenging Responsibilities

• Share a caseload with an experienced BA.
• Create materials for learners on caseload.

  Requirements

  • Enjoy working with children and love learning.
  • In the process of finishing supervision, waiting to take the BCBA exam, or newly certified and applying for licensure.
  • Accrued supervision hours of 1650.
  • Demonstrate Bierman's core values.
  • Able to lift, transport, and chase clients (minimum of 30 pounds) as needed.
