Clinician Educator - Associate or Full Professor – Mohs and Dermatological Surgeon

About the role

The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

  • Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and be board-certified or board-eligible upon completion of both an ACGME-accredited residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.
  • Teaching responsibilities may include didactics and bedside dermatologic surgery instruction to our world-class residents, fellows, and medical students.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include Mohs and reconstructive surgery in our ambulatory practices in Philadelphia or Penn Medicine Radnor.
  • Research or scholarship responsibilities may include publishing and lecturing about advances to prevent and treat skin cancer.

Requirements

  • Commitment to excellence in Mohs surgery and reconstruction.
  • Nationally or internationally recognized career in academic dermatologic surgery.
  • Excellence in clinical judgement, professionalism, and commitment to the team.

Qualifications

  • An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.
