Clinician Educator - Assistant Professor – Mohs and Dermatological Surgeon

About the role

The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to excellence in Mohs surgery and reconstruction
• Build a nationally or internationally recognized career in academic dermatologic surgery
• Enjoy extensive mentorship from experienced surgeons and faculty
• Teaching responsibilities may include didactics and bedside dermatologic surgery instruction to world-class residents, fellows, and medical students
• Clinical responsibilities may include Mohs and reconstructive surgery in ambulatory practices in Philadelphia or Penn Medicine Radnor
• Research or scholarship responsibilities may include publishing and lecturing about advances to prevent and treat skin cancer

Requirements

• An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Board-certified or board-eligible upon completion of both an ACGME-accredited residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology
