Clinician Educator - Assistant Professor – Mohs and Dermatological Surgeon

About the role

The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
  • Board-certified or board-eligible upon completion of both an ACGME-accredited residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology
  • Demonstrates excellent clinical judgement, professionalism, and commitment to our team

Responsibilities

  • Clinical: Mohs and reconstructive surgery in ambulatory practices in Philadelphia or Penn Medicine Radnor
  • Teaching: Didactics and bedside dermatologic surgery instruction to residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Research or scholarship: Publishing and lecturing about advances to prevent and treat skin cancer
