Academic Clinician Track - Assistant Professor – Mohs and Dermatological Surgeon

About the Role

The Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and be board-certified or board-eligible upon completion of both an ACGME-accredited residency in dermatology and a fellowship in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Teaching responsibilities may include didactics and bedside dermatologic surgery instruction to residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Clinical responsibilities may include Mohs and reconstructive surgery in ambulatory practices in Philadelphia or Penn Medicine Radnor.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated excellent clinical judgement and professionalism.
• Commitment to excellence in Mohs surgery and reconstruction.
• Interest in building a nationally or internationally recognized career in academic dermatologic surgery.
• Experience or willingness to develop skills in using immunostains for melanoma and other rare tumors.
