Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients who are experiencing their first psychotic episode.
- Offer therapy in various settings including the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client preferences and needs as well as clinical direction.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, utilizing a team approach to treatment.
- Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients.
- Ensure active client involvement in the treatment planning process, embracing their preferences.
- Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework.
- Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring client safety and fostering well-being.
Qualifications
- Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or another related field.
- Independent Clinical Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, preferred.
- Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short-term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies.
- Must be able to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations.
- Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
Schedule
Part-time (24 hours/week) with a flexible schedule during standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM). The role includes 1-2 onsite days per week based on client needs and offers the potential to expand into a full-time position as the program grows.
Pay
Annual Salary: $39,000 USD - $42,000 USD
