Job Summary

The University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Dental Medicine welcomes applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time, clinical track or tenure track Comprehensive Care Faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry.

Examples of Work Performed

  • Teaching, research, and clinical service duties
  • Mentoring of undergraduate dental students in dental clinics
  • Supervision of undergraduate dental students in restorative dentistry clinics
  • Potential consultation with graduate clinics
  • Didactic and pre-clinical teaching
  • Clinical supervision
  • Research, scholarship, and educational activities

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Initial rank is based on knowledge, achievement, and experience
    • Applicants must have a clinical, scholarly, and/or academic record consistent with each SDM Faculty appointment level in the School of Dental Medicine
  • Assistant Professor

    • A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
    • Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
  • Associate Professor

    • A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
    • Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
  • Professor

    • A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
    • Eligibility for a Colorado dental license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of a CODA approved Dental Specialty and/or General Practice Residency
  • Dental specialty board eligibility
  • Academic healthcare experience at a dental school
  • Demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative and multi-cultural environment
  • Commitment to the highest standards of inclusive, ethical, and professional conduct
  • Demonstrated previous teaching and research experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
