Job Summary
The University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Dental Medicine welcomes applications from exceptional candidates for a full-time, clinical track or tenure track Comprehensive Care Faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry.
Examples of Work Performed
- Teaching, research, and clinical service duties
- Mentoring of undergraduate dental students in dental clinics
- Supervision of undergraduate dental students in restorative dentistry clinics
- Potential consultation with graduate clinics
- Didactic and pre-clinical teaching
- Clinical supervision
- Research, scholarship, and educational activities
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Initial rank is based on knowledge, achievement, and experience
- Applicants must have a clinical, scholarly, and/or academic record consistent with each SDM Faculty appointment level in the School of Dental Medicine
Assistant Professor
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
Associate Professor
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
Professor
- A DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited U.S. dental school or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility for a Colorado dental license
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a CODA approved Dental Specialty and/or General Practice Residency
- Dental specialty board eligibility
- Academic healthcare experience at a dental school
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a collaborative and multi-cultural environment
- Commitment to the highest standards of inclusive, ethical, and professional conduct
- Demonstrated previous teaching and research experience
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills
