Clinical Teaching Field Experience Supervisor

About the role

The Field Experience Supervisor supports and guides LFCE teaching credential candidates in a TK-12 classroom setting, helping them complete fieldwork, intern, or directed/student teaching hours.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and observe candidates
• Evaluate candidates' performance
• Provide constructive feedback

Requirements

• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Clear California Teaching Credential with an English Learner Authorization: Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Special Education: Mild/Moderate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Three years of teaching experience with successful elementary or secondary teaching experience
• Three years of experience working with diverse student populations including English learners
• Knowledge of the California Standards for the Teaching Profession
• Knowledge of the Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs)
• Basic technology skills: completing online forms, scanning/emailing attachments
• Experience with online collaboration tools such as Google Classroom, WebEx, Zoom
• Experience in teaching and/or working with adult learners
