About the role

The Clinical Support Tech 1 position at Baptist Health is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. This role collaborates closely with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to ensure safe and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical patient care skills under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
• Work in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to deliver safe and quality patient care.
• Collaborate with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide patient care services.
• Support registration-related transactions, including point of service collections, as needed.

Requirements

• High School, GED, Certificate, Training, or equivalent experience.
• Registered Medical Assistant certification.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Emergency Medical Technician certification.
• AAMA Certified Medical Assistant certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• CNA Certified Nursing Assistant OR EMT Emergency Medical Technician, OR MED_ASST Certified, OR Medical Assistant, OR RMA Registered Medical Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $23.13 per hour, depending on experience.
