About the role

The Clinical Support Tech 1 position at Baptist Health is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. This role works closely with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to ensure safe and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical patient care skills under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
• Collaborate with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to deliver safe and quality patient care.
• Work in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide safe and quality patient care.
• Support registration-related transactions, including point of service collections, as needed.
• Perform patient check-in through use of manual/paper or digital solutions.

Requirements

• CNA Certified Nursing Assistant OR EMT Emergency Medical Technician, OR MED_ASST Certified, OR Medical Assistant, OR RMA Registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School, GED, Trn, Exper.
• Registered Medical Assistant.
• Basic Life Support.
• Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Emergency Medical Technician.
• AAMA Certified Medical Assistant.

Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $23.13 / hour depending on experience.
