About the role

The Clinical Support Tech 1 position at Baptist Health is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. This role collaborates closely with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to ensure safe and quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical patient care skills under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
• Work in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to deliver safe and quality patient care.
• Collaborate with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Support registration-related transactions, including point of service collections, as needed.
• Perform patient check-ins using manual/paper or digital solutions.

Requirements

• CNA Certified Nursing Assistant OR EMT Emergency Medical Technician, OR MED_ASST Certified, OR Medical Assistant, OR RMA Registered Medical Assistant.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School, GED, Trn, Exper.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).

• Basic technical patient care skills.
• Collaboration with licensed healthcare practitioners.
• Use of manual/paper or digital solutions for patient check-ins.

Pay

The estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $23.13 / hour depending on experience.
