About the role

The Clinical Support Assistant/Transporter position at St. Mary's Medical Center is full-time and involves transporting patients within the hospital environment under the supervision of the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or an authorized designee.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the Medical Center
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to patient transport
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare staff
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized transport area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
