Clinical Support Assistant/Transporter - Transport (Full Time) - 6013

About the role

The Clinical Support Assistant/Transporter position at St. Mary's Medical Center is full-time and reports to the Manager, Patient Transport/Customer Service or an authorized designee.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport patients throughout the Medical Center
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
• Follow hospital policies and procedures related to patient transport
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare team members
• Handle patient belongings and ensure they are transported appropriately
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized transport area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Previous experience with patient transport is advantageous
