About the Role

The Clinical Supervisor ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care by overseeing competent staff and optimizing resource utilization. They collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and ensure proper staffing for patient care. The role involves proactively managing patient flow and bed allocation, inspiring change, and modeling professional standards with a positive attitude. They provide mentorship, support, and recognition to foster leadership and accountability among care providers, ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines. The Clinical Supervisor participates in evaluations alongside the Clinical Manager and performs duties aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee competent staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and ensure proper staffing.
  • Proactively manage patient flow and bed allocation.

  • Provide mentorship, support, and recognition to foster leadership and accountability among care providers.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in evaluations alongside the Clinical Manager.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure.
  • 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as TNCC, ACLS/ALS, ENPC, or PALS.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Clinical competence and data assessment skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Experience managing medical cardiac patients with complex needs.
