We offer same-day primary care and a wide range of behavioral health services across our community health centers in:

Our Addiction Services Division provides a full continuum of care, including:
- Primary care integration
- Residential detox and treatment
- Outpatient mental health and substance use services for adults and children
- Intensive outpatient programs

- Mobile crisis evaluations

- Social rehabilitation
The Clinical Supervisor of Withdrawal Management and the Intensive Program is responsible for overseeing the Withdrawal Management and Intensive daily clinical operations, working collaboratively with the leadership team and within InterCommunity’s systems of care to ensure best client outcomes.
Supervision Received: Receives supervision from Withdrawal Management and Intensive Program Managers, as well as the VP of Behavioral Health.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day clinical functioning of Withdrawal Management and Intensive Programs.
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures; maintain agency confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with Coordinator of Internship and HR to manage the internship program.
- Monitor and evaluate work performed by subordinates.
- Investigate and respond to critical incidents, process incident reports, and implement related action plans after management review.
- Manage the clinical schedule and completion of payroll for clinical staff.
- Oversee department production/utilization and documentation.
- Perform regular audits of clinical documentation.
- Participate in program/agency meetings and performance improvement teams.
- Assure compliance with quality assurance findings and recommendations.
- Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure client rights.
- Provide clinical treatment services in the form of triage, crisis intervention, assessment, individual, group and/or family therapy, screening and planning, completing related proper documentation.
- Provide back-up clinical coverage as needed; document in the clinical record within 24 hours.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment teams from all residential programs to ensure best client outcomes.
- Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate training and development of staff in response to identified needs, including on-call support when necessary.
- Review all program incident reports and facilitate the investigation, action plan, and retraining if needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinician with at least 2 years of experience in management and 2 years facilitating individual and group psychotherapy.
- Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health discipline from an Accredited University and advanced Licensure in the State of Connecticut as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 2 years of experience in a recovery-oriented system of care in a behavioral health setting.
