What You’ll Be Doing Manage daily and monthly clinical staff schedules, ensuring proper coverage and compliance with staffing ratiosMaintain caregiver shift preferences and availability in an active scheduling databaseRespond to emergent scheduling needs with creativity and urgencySupervise caregivers across all shifts, including PM, NOC, and weekendsAssist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation of new caregiversTrack and maintain associate licenses and certificationsProvide regular updates to the Administrator and Director of Health Services on staffing, overtime, call-offs, and performance metricsApprove payroll and manage timecards for the clinical teamCollaborate with HR and DHS on performance concerns, workers’ comp, and leaves of absenceCoordinate training and continuing education for clinical staffOversee budgeting, inventory, and ordering of clinical suppliesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and community eventsFoster strong relationships with caregivers, nurses, and community leaders to support retention and satisfactionSupervise adherence to policies and procedures under DHS direction Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in healthcare scheduling, preferably with dementia-related careFamiliarity with scheduling software and dementia care practicesWillingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysEmpathetic communication style and a “can-do” attitudeActive role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)Commitment to working with seniors in a culturally diverse environmentReliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standardsComfortable working in an environment with animals and petsAbility to collaborate with other department leaders Why Choose Silverado?
